JoAnn's heartbeat is toward God and His people to see that they aspire to be the very best they can be for Him.   I encourage you to live in purpose.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is for God’s people to be healed and made free by the knowledge of God’s Word.  For them to gain knowledge of how to tap into His presence through intimacy.

Our objective is for you to obtain an understanding of how to hear from God.  To hear from God you must know Him.  If you have fallen you can get up.
"In His Image" A Salute to Fathers

And God said let us make man.  And He stooped down and scooped up a mass of clay, formed man and man became a living soul.  And God said that’s good.  God saw Himself when He created him, man was formed in the glorious image of Himself. God carefully and strategically thought out the roles man would play.  Two of the most important characters are a husband and a father.  Oh how great our Heavenly Father is to have not only fashioned him (man) from the dust of the earth, but set forth the purpose (plan) for that which He so skillfully made.  WOW!

Because Father’s Day is this month lets concentrate on the father.  God said He made man in His image, therefore He intended for man to take on His Character.  Some of the godly descriptive words for a father are priest, minister, and vicar (holy man), but we know him as a parent.  I just liked those words and thought dads should take on those characteristics.   Isn’t that amazing the characteristic that represents a godly father?   A godly father should be the priest of his home, the minister of his family, and the holy vessel before his Heavenly Father seeking divine instructions for life’s journey.

A father provides leadership, security and safety for his family and home.  He loves his family and desires the very best for them. Daddy, Papa, Pope, or Pop see to it that mama has want she needs to take care of the children and the home.  Being the priest of his home he brings his family to church whereby they can learn and fellowship together.   He is his wife’s covering and his children’s shelter.  “Daddy brings home the bacon”.  A good father becomes uncomfortable in his situation when he is not able to provide for his family.  I believe God intends for it to be that way, because He wants him mindful of his obligations.

Be encouraged. Surely the responsibility of a father is not an easy job, being a leader, priest, protector, and/or the provider of your home.  I have no doubt that life has thrown you some blows and somehow you continue to press on.  There has been some rising and falling but you survived.  Remember, take note, God has not forsaken you; He has always had you in His creative hand.  It is Him who has been there all the time to muscle you up, stretched little into much, influenced your boss to give you a raise, made that car crank up, and made you stay when you wanted leave.  So fight on brother and keep the faith. My bible tells me you have already won.

Yeah, you are in His Image!

I Salute You! Happy Father’s Day
